Tamba aka Tigga T - Hip Hop & African Music Artist - Tamba which means the second born of the mother, is a name from the Kono tribe of Sierra Leone, West Africa, Tamba's homeland. Growing up in San Jose, California Tamba recalls getting his love of music from his father who would blast music early in the morning as a wake up call for the household, and would do so from his massive collection of music from many different genres. Being from a very close family, when family conflicts began during his freshman year of high school Tamba turned to the only thing that always represented fun, love, comfort, and happiness in his family, which was music. During this time Tamba started a movement called 48 Hour Hustle, which meant that hard work, all day and all night was the only way to fully achieve your dreams. In this state of my mind, Tamba set up a home studio, where he began recording his own tracks in chase of that dream. At age 16 Tamba was given the opportunity to perform his original material on stage and afterwards stated that it was a "dope experience", and from that show he knew he was addicted to performing and that music was where is heart is. In 2011 he dropped his first project Fundamentals The Mixtape, and in 2012 Visionary. Tamba has performed in over 50 shows in Northern California, and continues to expand his resume. In 2012 Tamba joined the group Wild Afri which has afforded him great experiences and opportunities. Currently in college while pursuing his dreams of internationally stardom, Tamba states “I just thank god every day and keep my 48 Hour Hustle on... With not being able to tell the future you just have to hope and pray for the best ”. Writer, rapper, performer, and producer, Tamba the young, ambitious, and passionate artist continues down a road to one day be as great as his most influential musical legends Michael Jackson and Bob Marley.
